Re-Reads

My wonderful niece, Lisa, has got me back re-reading an author I first read way back when I was still a fairly young dinosaur. An author whose works transported me half way around the world, and filled my imagination with wonder: Nevil Shute. I can’t remember which family member it was who first introduced me to Shute but I was so glad they did. I think I started out reading A Town Like Alice, which, I have to say, is probably not the best story to start with. No, no don’t get me wrong.
